The Coalition
Associations and citizens united against the Europa Valley project. Together, we carry the opposition on the ground, in the press, and to elected officials.
Who we are
The coalition brings together 9 partner associations and around thirty citizens from the Ried near Diebolsheim, engaged since the beginning of the opposition campaign against the Europa Valley project.
The Association Alternative Nature (Benfeld, founded 1994) is the legal body carrying the fight: it has capacity to litigate and will lead the upcoming legal proceedings. Le Chaudron des Alternatives coordinates citizens' mobilisation, public communication, and the association alliance.
The coalition is meant to grow: every new association that joins the opposition reinforces the weight of our approach towards elected officials, the media, and public opinion.

Le Chaudron des Alternatives and the Ried citizens' collective issue a formal call to any structure wishing to join the opposition to the project.
Le Chaudron des Alternatives and a large collective of citizens from the Ried near Diebolsheim are leading their 2nd opposition campaign against the Europa Valley project by the Mack family, owners and operators of Europa-Park, whose French subsidiary is based in Plobsheim.
We thought this project had been abandoned in 2023. It has not.

Why your support matters
To carry weight, we want to gather as many formal endorsements as possible, which we can:
- Announce during our actions
- Cite in our correspondence
- Name in our public statements
- Call upon if needed for possible future field actions
Do you oppose the Europa Valley project?
If YES, and if you consent, whenever it is useful to show that many of us do not want this project, we will be able to cite your collective or association as being opposed to it.
As of today, we are organised as an opposition coalition that will likely be renamed in the coming weeks as our mobilisation and organisation matures.
